Areas of Responsibility
- Providing individual protocol-based structured psychotherapy, including CBT and CPT, in adherence with the OSP Clinical Training guidelines
- Conducting clinical assessments to identify symptoms, develop treatment goals and to inform individualized treatment plans including discharge planning
- Actively participating in safety planning in consultation with the OSP Clinical Coordinator when required
- Participating in the OSP Clinical Training Program and ongoing professional education when required
- Participating in ongoing and regular clinical consultation and related clinical activities in adherence with OSP fidelity monitoring requirements and program guidelines
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and reports, including collecting relevant data to evaluate client and service outcomes
- Identifying when client needs are no longer in scope of the service offered and working within a stepped care model to ensure appropriate services are based on client needs
- Working in collaboration with the OSP Clinical Coordinator to arrange step up or step down care
- In consultation with the OSP Clinical Coordinator, providing service navigation and supports for clients who are stepping out of the OSP program
Qualifications
The successful candidate requires at minimum:
- Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
- Masters level degree in a social science with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience or Bachelor level degree with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing counselling/psychotherapy
- Ability and willingness to participate in 18 months of intensive training to become a certified CBT therapist
- Ability and willingness to commit to a minimum of three (3) years of employment with TBC in this role

Salary
$40.02 to $47.53 per hour
