Privacy Policy

Thunder Bay Counselling is committed to respecting your privacy. We have well developed policies and procedures in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act(PIPEDA) and the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). These acts govern the collection, notice, use and disclosure of information.

Our Confidentiality and Privacy Policies explain our current practices regarding what may be collected, how to access your records, disclosure with consent and how to amend your information. To make a request for access to your information or to request that your personal information be amended or for a copy of our Confidentiality and Privacy Policies, you may wish to contact our Privacy Officer.

You also have the right to file an appeal with the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario if you believe Thunder Bay Counselling has not complied with the legislation.
