Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Counsellor/Psychotherapist to join our team. In this role, you will deliver structured, evidence-based psychotherapy to clients in alignment with the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) Clinical Training guidelines. Qualifications

Education: Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field, with Master’s level preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Registered or eligible for registration with a relevant regulatory body, either the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Experience: Five (5) years proven experience in providing counselling/psychotherapy in a fast-paced, structured environment.

Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills; familiarity with stepped care models; ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver Individual Therapy: Provide structured, protocolbased psychotherapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), following OSP Clinical Training guidelines.

Conduct Clinical Assessments: Perform comprehensive assessments to identify symptoms, set treatment goals, and create individualized treatment plans, including discharge planning.

Safety Planning: Work with the OSP Clinical Coordinator to develop and implement safety plans as needed, ensuring client safety and well-being.

Continuous Learning: Participate in the OSP Clinical Training Program and engage in ongoing professional education to maintain high standards of care.

Clinical Consultation: Engage in regular clinical consultations and activities, adhering to OSP fidelity monitoring requirements and program guidelines.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely records, including data collection to evaluate client progress and service outcomes.

Client Care Coordination: Identify when a client’s needs extend beyond the scope of the current service and utilize a stepped care model to connect clients with appropriate resources. Work closely with the OSP Clinical Coordinator to arrange step-up or step-down care as required.

Service Navigation: Support clients who are transitioning out of the OSP program by providing service navigation and additional support as needed, in consultation with the OSP Clinical Coordinator.

$39.04 to $46.37 per hour
