Speakers
Dr. Shari Manning is the founder of the South Carolina Center for Dialectical Behavior Therapy, a private practice for adults and adolescents that uses intensive DBT treatment on an outpatient basis. She has a wealth of experience in training and supervising at Universities, mental health organizations, and Corrections. She has researched, written and published chapters and articles on DBT and its implementation.

Helen Best is the President and Co-founder of the Treatment Implementation Collaborative, LLC based in Seattle, WA. She supports small and large scale evidence based practice implementation initiatives through her broad expertise in developing training and implementation plans. Helen project managed the largest DBT implementation projects to date with state wide initiatives in MI, CT, NY, and the province of British Columbia, as well as national initiatives in New Zealand and Norway.
TIC, or the Treatment Implementation Collaborative, provides consultation, training and supervision in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, as well as other Evidence Based Practices (EBP) to mental health systems, agencies and individuals. Their website is www.ticllc.org.
