Thunder Bay Counselling Centre supports a variety of special programs. We are proud to be innovators and to bring much needed counselling to community members that are in need of assistance.
Our Hope Place houses many different programs meeting the needs of families and pregnant moms. Some of these programs are:
Pregnancy & Health a program for pregnant women and/or women who have children 0 - 6 years of age, who are struggling with substance use.

Family Group Decision Making is a culturally sensitive decision-making process that brings together the family circle with service providers, including the Children's Aid Society, to develop a plan that meets the need for safety and well being of the child, and potentially the family as a whole.
The Child Victim Witness Program helps children prepare for court by explaining court procedures, describing the roles of different court personnel, addressing any concerns children may have about court, practicing the types of questions that are generally asked in court.
